Privacy & usage counts

Your configuration

Talent calculations run in your browser. Save on this device writes a build code to localStorage only after you press Save. Shared configurations are encoded after the # in a URL; the build code is not sent to our server as part of a page request. Anyone you give the link to can read that configuration. We do not collect game accounts, credentials or character names.

Optional usage counts

We send tool-usage events only after you select Allow counts. The event includes an action (planner use, share, reset or a return visit), class choice and whether the visit is an internal test. Our server groups counts by UTC day and the coarse country code provided by Cloudflare. We do not store IP addresses, exact builds, talent ranks, unique visitor identifiers or full page URLs in this event database. Counts are actions, not a verified number of people; automated traffic can affect them.

Your usage preference is stored locally for six months. Allowing counts also stores a local visit timestamp to distinguish a return after at least 24 hours. You can change the choice using Usage preferences below the planner. Not now stops further events and removes the visit timestamp. Earlier aggregate counts have no identifier we could use to connect them to you. QA events are separated from natural-use counts.

Hosting and external links

Cloudflare hosts this site and may process request data, including IP address and browser information, to deliver and protect it. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. Links to external sites have their own policies. This release loads no advertising scripts or third-party analytics scripts.
